Email Campaigns, Past-Due Invoice Alerts, Driver Pickup Notices, Smarter Scheduling & the Full General Ledger
- NewEmail Campaigns, new in CRM for Pro plan shops: pick who to reach (customers who haven't been in for 90 or 180 days, active fleets, or everyone subscribed), start from a win-back, seasonal PM & DOT or shop news template, let AI polish the wording, preview it, send yourself a test, then send. Untick anyone you'd rather leave out; every email carries a one-click unsubscribe.
- ImprovedCRM has a Customers tab showing who has been asked for feedback, who answered and who has gone quiet, and Send request opens a preview you can edit or have AI rewrite. Smart lookup in Settings → Shop Branding → Reviews finds your Google listing so the Google Reviews tab shows your live rating and reviews. CRM has its own permission, so you choose who sees customer feedback.
- NewPast-due invoice alerts, on by default: once an invoice or counter sale passes the due date you set with money still owed, managers, service advisors and admins get a bell alert, and a banner lists exactly which invoices are past due, each one click from its order. Shops that never set due dates see nothing. Settings → Tax Configuration → Past-Due Invoice Alerts.
- NewOrders keep the driver who brought the truck in, apart from the company: a Driver contact block shows their name, phone and email, and the customer page lists a fleet's drivers. Turn on the Ready-for-Pickup Notice in Settings → Notifications to text and/or email the driver when the truck reaches your ready column, or send it any time with Notify.
- ImprovedFilter the Work Orders list by customer. Pick an owner-operator and it can also show the fleet orders on the trucks they drive.
- NewApply a customer's account credit right from a work order's or counter sale's Record Payment screen, and date a payment the day the money actually came in: Take Payment, Pay Statement and Record Payment all have a Payment Date. Marking a vendor bill paid asks the day the money left.
- ImprovedSmarter scheduling: Tech Tracker scheduling is on by default, booking opens on the next free time with a First available button, the Week view lists every job in one row (By technician on request), Up Next cards drop onto Week and Month days, Shop load reads "12.5h of 20h booked", and you are warned when a job runs through lunch or lands on a Sunday or holiday.
- NewSet staff hours for each weekday (short Saturdays, closed Sundays) and list shop holidays in Settings → Shop Branding → Hours & staff. Holidays are unpaid days off on the timecard and are shaded on the calendar and Tech Tracker without blocking bookings.
- NewTech hours on quantity labor (turn on "Track tech hours on quantity labor" in Settings → Labor Rates & Matrix): a line billed by count, like four tires, credits the technician with the hours it really takes, Count actual turns the timed work into those hours in one click, and technician reports and job cost use them.
- ImprovedAccounting: the general ledger now carries the whole books. Bills, vendor payments and returns, the bank feed and loans, cost of sales, stock value and Expenses & Income all post, refreshed nightly with a check of every bank account's cash. The Trial Balance has roll-forwards, Period Close lists each check it ran, and a vendor return's credit can pay a bill.
- ImprovedSales Tax remittances and Lock & Mark Filed are saved with your shop, so every computer and every staff member sees the same filing history. A weekly income in Expenses & Income is invoiced one week at a time, and Add Income can create its counter sales.
- ImprovedInventory: choose how much the low-stock reorder suggests (Up to Min, Up to Max, or Min + extra) in Settings → Inventory Settings, search finds a part by its cross-reference number, and a CSV price update changes only the columns the file has.
- ImprovedCounter sales price stock parts and tires by the customer's pricing matrix, a subcontract line takes a cost, and a fluid return can be part of a gallon.
- ImprovedInspections: new shops start with sample templates, a setting can require the truck's mileage before an inspection starts, trailers record hub miles and reefer hours on a trailer axle map, and the DOT inspection report prints the axle walk-around beside the checklist, where a needs-repair rating keeps it from passing.
- ImprovedReports: notes about missing detail are a small chip you click instead of a yellow card, dates follow your shop's calendar, an invoice report filtered to one customer covers their whole history, and Financial Reports' Custom Range starts on the range you're looking at.
- ImprovedReceipts show a card surcharge on its own line apart from the payment, an overpayment on a work order stays on the order unless you choose store credit, and vehicle history marks outside-vendor work with an OW badge and its vendor.
- ImprovedMuch more of BigShop speaks your shop's language: the work order screen, customers, vehicles, counter sales, inventory, materials and tires, purchase orders, vendors, service requests, inspections, the BigJar chat and the Daily Digest, over 450 strings that stayed in English. BigJar also finds its help topics whatever language you ask in.
- ImprovedPhone app: apply store credit when taking a payment, Bill actual and Count actual on labor lines, the waste tire fee on tires, and screens that keep their layout at the largest phone text sizes.
